Zone motors allow you to choose which rooms you want to heat or cool! |
Zone motors not only allow you to isolate areas of your house, they also increase the efficiency of running your heating or air conditioning system.
They sit inside the duct and allow you to close them, much like closing a door or even partially close them to restrict air flow.
The controller for the zone motors could sit next to the thermostat or any other place in the house that is convenient.
There are many different types of controlers for zone motors also.
Some can be as simple as turning a switch on and off, just like a light switch.
Other systems can be sophisticated giving you control over the temperature of each room using a central touch pad or seperate touch pads.
Which ever system you use, the result if used correctly can increase the efficiency of your air conditioner and lower your running costs
